About DevFest Melbourne

DevFest Melbourne is our biggest developer event of the year! Organised by GDG Melbourne, this community-driven event features technical sessions from Google Developer Experts, industry practitioners, and Google engineers.

Whether you’re an Android dev, Cloud architect, Web programmer, or AI hobbyist, DevFest has sessions tailored for you.

A note about tickets

We have several ticket types this year:

2-for-1: Get two tickets for the one low price of $50 - bring a friend for free! - SOLD OUT!

Regular ticket: Standard ticket including all the goodies.

Enterprise ticket: For attendees who’ll have their ticket price covered by their employer and are feeling generous - these tickets allow us to offer significantly discounted ticket prices for students and general attendees, as well as help fund our general events throughout the year. If this price is not for you, please feel free to select the regular ticket. There is no difference between the ticket types. Additionally, if your company purchases enough enterprise tickets, we’ll offer you an equivalent sponsorship package for free (contact us for details)! Conditions apply. Please note: this ticket doesn’t offer any additional benefits over our regularly priced ticket, besides our eternal gratitude and imbuing you with +10 to your coding skills!

We also want to support our attendees who are experiencing hardship. If you need to access a reduced price ticket in order to attend please reach out to the team at hello.gdgmelbourne@gmail.com . Note, our tickets are already priced for students, we do recommend to get your ticket during the 2-for-1 period to make the ticket even more affordable if you are a student.

New Melbourne CBD Location! This year we’ll be hosted by the William Angliss Institute at 555 La Trobe Street, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000. It’s just a 5-10 minute walk from both Southern Cross and Flagstaff train stations!
